At the end of the project, there should be a concluding phase where the project is evaluated by all partners, including pupils and teachers. Evaluations are necessary to give ownership to all participants. Pupils must get the feeling they carried out their own project. They must get the opportunity to give feedback and to express their thoughts on the activities and make suggestions. The results of the evaluation will be helpful to create better projects in the future.
Throughout the project, different ways of formative assessment should be included as well. eTwinning projects are compatible with the curriculum and assessment is an integrated part of it. Pupils in eTwinning projects are collaborators and content creators and they build 21st century skills and competences. All these aspects offer opportunities for assessment carried out by the teacher, by peers or by the pupil himself.
1. Create an evaluation table in the TwinSpace with all the activities of the project and ask pupils to evaluate them with a score from 1-4 (1: we did not like this activity - 4: we liked this activity very much). Younger pupils can do the same with emoticons. The scores of the different class groups are then shared and compared.
2. Ask pupils to describe their participation in the project with one or more key words and create a word cloud.

3. Take short interviews of students, parents and colleagues to evaluate the work done in the project. Evaluate what your students have learnt in a playful way. Teachers can create a quiz and organise a live meeting where the students from all partner schools can compete with each other by answering questions related to the project.
4. Self-assessment - pupils write down what they learnt in the project: how did their opinion change? Where did they gain confidence? etc.
