eTwinning weeks 2017: Turning Inclusion into Action

During this year’s eTwinning weeks campaign all members of the community are encouraged to set up projects on the theme of ‘Inclusion’ and share their experience with the community.

eTwinning weeks will support participants with a wide range of activities focusing on the topic of Inclusion. Seven online events, including Expert talks, seminars with teachers sharing their experience/good practice as well as three featured events organized by Moderators of the following three Featured Groups : “Gender – know how to stop stereotypes”, “Integrating Migrant Students in Schools” and “Inclusive education”. The campaign is kicking off today, 21st of September at 5pm CET, with the Online seminar: “Inclusion: every learner matters and matters equally”, in which the following three experts will take part: Anna Triantafyllidou (European University Institute, Italy), Giuseppina Cannella (INDIRE, Italy) and Mieke Neven McMahon (SALTO Youth).

All projects created as part of the campaign will be entered into a competition, and the founders of the winning projects for both primary and secondary category will receive tablets.
To help teachers present their project ideas and find partners, two ‘project ideas fairs’ will be held on 26th of September for primary school teachers, and on 28th of September for secondary school teachers both at 6pm CET. Participants will have one minute to describe their project ideas so that other colleagues can join their projects (limited to the first 40)! Alongside the whole campaign, a special partner finding forum will allow you to share your ideas and find partners for your project.

If you have an idea for a project on Inclusion and you want to participate in the eTwinning weeks campaign, submit your project proposal before 26th of October and don’t forget to add the hashtag #eTwinclusion. The four winning teachers will be announced in November. Good luck to all eTwinners!
