The annual Professional Development Workshop for eTwinning Ambassadors is an event organised by the hosting NSS and the CSS and focuses on providing eTwinning ambassadors from across Europe with new skills and opportunities to share best practice.
This year the PDW for eTwinning ambassadors took place in Belgrade, Serbia, with 160 participants from 37 countries.
eTwinning ambassadors are the pillars of the eTwinning community. They work with the National Support Services (NSS) and promote eTwinning in their country facilitating training for eTwinners. It is therefore essential that they have the essential skills and information to promote eTwinning effectively.
The eTwinning ambassadors in attendance valued the opportunity to come together and work with their peers across Europe.
“The conference has been very useful because we had the chance to meet people from other countries and work together. We found out that their way of managing their schools is different from ours” – Maria Cristina Bevilacqua, Italy
