On 9 May - Europe Day - we celebrated eTwinning and Europe’s cultural heritage.
eTwinners celebrated Europe Day by recreating their favourite artworks together with their students. During eTwinning Day, eTwinning teachers shared more than 200 contributions together and 700 posts across social media linked to the hashtag #eTwinningDay.
This celebration would not have been possible without the online collections of Europeana, which gave teachers access to millions of artworks helping them discover Europe’s cultural heritage. Europeana was this year’s inspiration and eTwinning teachers recreated artworks in their classroom in the most imaginative, and original ways.
