The school year is now in full swing! If you haven’t yet had a chance to register a new eTwinning project, don’t worry: it’s never too late. Put some ideas together, find a partner and get started.

REMINDER: If you participated in a successful eTwinning project in the 2006-2007 school year, be sure to submit an entry to the European eTwinning Prizes by 31 October 2007.

The deadline is fast approaching for this year’s European eTwinning Prizes 2008. If you ran a successful project during the 2006-2007 school year, be sure to submit before 31 October!

Czech Republic: New project gallery
eTwinning in the Czech Republic has recently released a new online gallery of projects to highlight best practice in the Czech Republic and give ideas to newcomers.

Slovakia: Back to school conference
On 20 September in Zilina, 130 participants from the Ministry of Education, the University of Trnava and eTwinning projects came together to kick off the school year.

Portugal: Successful project continues
On 29 September 2007, the eTwinning project “Across the Bible” in Portugal inaugurated its fifth school year of work by uniting a number of Portuguese schools in the project.

 

 


Greece: Creativity Competition
Greece celebrates three successful years of eTwinning through a national eTwinning contest of creativity and artistic expression: «The meaning of electronic Twinning»!

Slovakia: Regional Workshops
Regional workshops have been held in September and October across the country to assist schools in integrating eTwinning into this year’s school programme.

Spain: Launch of national prizes
Spain is now accepting submissions for its national prizes competition. The deadline for submissions for projects run in the 2006-2007 school year is 31 October.
