eTwinning Finalists in Global Junior Challenge

	In this year’s Global Junior Challenge, we are proud to report that four eTwinning projects have made it to the finals!

The Global Junior Challenge is a worldwide competition that has been running every 2-3 years since 2000. As outlined on the official website, “[t]he intention of the award, dedicated to young people and to schools, is to identify and reward best practices on the use of new technologies in education and training of youngsters”.

Divided in four age categories and two additional thematic categories, we are happy to announce that four high quality eTwinning projects have made it the final stage of this prestigious international competition!

Category “Up to 10 years old”:

- “ZOO” (Belgium, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain)

- “Kids H@nd in H@nd (Belgium, Estonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain)

Category “Up to 18 years old”:

- “Partners in Patterns” (Belgium, Estonia, Greece, Italy)

- “Maths to Play” (Italy, Luxembourg)

The final winners will be announced during the prize ceremony which will be held in Rome in October 2007.
