Following the special eTwinning Weeks in September and October, we are pleased to see so many new schools and projects registered on the eTwinning Portal. Welcome and good luck with all your project work!
Submissions for the eTwinning Prizes 2008 are now closed. Many thanks to all who have entered their 2006-2007 projects. Overall, we have received nearly 450 projects and look forward to evaluating them. The finalists will be announced in January 2008 so stay tuned for more information soon!

Projects of the Month Telling lives Pupils produce their own digital stories with photos, drawings or other media clips and voice-over tools, based on agreed topics. The stories/films are then exchanged and published on the TwinSpace.

Quality Label Kids H@nd in H@nd Young children make use of ICT and communicate on the Internet with each other by means of a universal language -symbols, hand prints, drawings, etc. - in a creative and meaningful way.

News eTwinning wins at Global Junior Challenge We are pleased to announce that two eTwinning projects came away as top winners at this year’s Global Junior Challenge awards ceremony held on 5 October in Rome.

News eTwinning Weeks 2007: Results This year’s back to school campaign was a great success, with nearly 3600 new schools and over 800 new projects. Find out who the lottery and raffle winners are.
Kit of the Month Living Traditions - Starter Kit In this one-month “starter kit” project, two partner classes work together and create an online presentation about traditions in their countries.

Belgium: Audenaerde@War A Belgian teacher is looking to find partners for a very interesting multi-country eTwinning project about the Battle of Oudenarde. The project will also involve exchange visits.
Slovenia: 4-Country Seminar The NSS from Austria, Hungary, Italy and Slovenia held a regional eTwinning-Comenius partnership Contact Seminar from 8-11 November in Kranjska Gora.
Bulgaria: eCard Awards and Seminar At the end of October, Bulgaria awarded the winners of the national e-card competition and held a regional seminar in the town of Dobrich at the "Geo Milev" language school.
Estonia/Finland: Contact Seminar Estonia and Finland held a contact seminar in Tallinn from 26-28 October. Focusing on litterature and arts, ten teachers from each country participated and formed partnerships.

Hungary: Creative Competition Students prepare posters and postcards to promote eTwinning. Winning postcards will then be displayed online and in print. Submission deadline: 25 February 2008.
Slovakia: 3-Country Seminar The NSS from the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia will hold a regional eTwinning Partner-Finding Seminar in Zilina from 29-30 November.
The Netherlands: National Workshops Regional workshops on ‘School partnerships in Europe’ will take place from December 2007 – May 2008. Workshop will focus on partner-finding tools.
Italy: National Workshops Expert eTwinning teachers will take part in two national level workshops: one in Desenzano from 5-7 November, and the other in Lecce from 21-23 November.
