The result of an eTwinning partnership between Italy and Slovenia. Each school concentrated on the value of peace. Group work was organized and results put online on two dedicated and linked websites made by students and debated upon by them via e-mail. Results of the activities were elaborated by the students were then put on the internet for further use of E.U. boys and girls. Objectives Awareness of their European citizenship and enhanced knowledge on the values of the EU,consolidation of the vehicular language, deepening of contents on the chosen theme, particular stress given to the importance of tolerance in group work, methods of collaboration in getting to objectives. Method Choice of theme, working group forming, definition of tasks, activity development, monitoring, evaluation and publication of the work online on two dedicated linked web sites. Impact A better knowledge of the partner country, of English as the vehicular language, of ICT abilities, enhancement of the students’ awareness of the importance of exercising an active European citizenship. Products short poem production on the theme, short mini-lectures and debates in class made in the vehicular language (English), website producing.

It has got three sections: The Small dictionary of imaginary expressions proposes comparing illustrated phrases in various languages explaining their origin; Give me a sign! Compares gestures and facial expressions used in every day communication that are particularly common in certain cultures; Languages madness is the section for language games. The main communication languages are French, English, Italian and Spanish, but of other languages are also present ( Creole, Wolof, and Egyptian).
