Back to School with eTwinning Weeks 2007

	As the new school year will be starting up soon, the special “eTwinning Weeks 2007” are being organised to focus on encouraging schools and teachers to get involved in eTwinning this autumn. Between 17 September and 19 October, special events, activities and prizes are planned across Europe.

Register your school, start a project with your partner, get involved in eTwinning and win a prize! During these three designated eTwinning Weeks, activities include:

• Starter Kits: Sign up to one of the special eTwinning Starter Kits and get involved in a short-term starter project right away.
• Events: Participate in special activities and competitions being organised in your country.
• Project Lottery: Register a project during the eTwinning Weeks and enter a weekly lottery to win an iRiver for your class.
• Recommendation Raffle: Recommend eTwinning to a colleague and enter a raffle to win an iRiver for your class.
• eCard: Send an eTwinning eCard to your friends and project partners.
• Teachers’ Blog: Share and discuss your experiences with other teachers in Europe through the Teachers Blog.
• eTwinning Prizes 2008: Submit an application for the top European prizes if you were involved in a project between 1 June 2006 and 30 June 2007

Further details on the specific activities organised in each country, as well as the lottery competition, will be available on the eTwinning Portal as of 17 September, so be sure to check back soon in order to participate in these special activities.
