Interview with Viljenka Šavli

	Viljenka Šavli is one of the pioneers of ICT-based collaborative projects in Europe.

Viljenka Šavli has been an English teacher at a primary school in Slovenia (Osnovna šola Solkan) for years. Her pupils have been involved in different international projects such as Kidlink, iEarn, ESP, MyEurope, Comenius, etc.

Last year, Viljenka Šavli and her pupils aged 9 to 14 joined eTwinning and are carrying out various projects with several European partners. At the beginning of their partnership with the Portuguese school, the Slovene pupils had an e-mail exchange based on the project called the Image of the Other. Now, their platform for collaboration with the same partners is a common e-journal.

In eTwinning resource repository, you can find a simple pedagogical guide on the e-mail activity, based on the project called the Image of the Other. The idea of creating a common e-journal inspired us to create a ready-made project kit “e-journal bridges for foreign language learning", which you are free to use!
