General Criteria
Evaluators will consider the following criteria:
- Pedagogical Innovation and Curricular Integration: how the project and the use of ICT change the daily life of the partner schools and fit in with national policies and exam constraints
- Collaboration Between Partner Schools: how teachers and pupils communicate in order to work together
- Creative Use of ICT: how to get beyond emailing
- Sustainability and Transferability: how to guarantee that the project will last, involving the whole school and be able to share benefits with others
- Results and Benefits: what came out of the project as well as why your project deserves to be awarded
Evaluation Process
31 October 2007: Final submissions received
20 November 2007: Round 1 – finalised Each National Support Service appoints one person to the European panel of evaluators. The evaluation is done online
15 January 2008: Round 2 – finalised The shortlist of best entries is submitted to an independent panel of experts composed of representatives from the European Commission, the Pedagogical Advisory Group for eTwinning, the Central Support Service as well as external experts. The panel selects the finalists.
25 January 2008: Results and notification to finalists
eTwinning Prize-giving Ceremony
Representatives from finalist partnerships will be invited to attend the prize-giving ceremony which will take place in February/March 2008. The winners and runners-up will then be announced at this time in connection with the Annual eTwinning Conference 2008.
