We are teachers in a secondary school in Coruche, a lovely picturesque village in the heart of Ribatejo, a province in the centre of Portugal. We want our students to share with other foreign students about thei local features, traditions, culture and wildlife as well as their interests and way of living. We also want our students to understand cultures and traditions of other countries, value the differences at the same time they can develop an attitude of respect for the identity and culture of others and tolerance of diversity.

• Procedura di lavoro: The topic/subtopics will be discussed in class. After, they will start collecting information concerning the subtopics and send it to the students abroad. With the gathered information students will work on the vocabulary in english, organise it in games, pictures, powerpoints, articles ... In the final task ( by the end of the school year ) students will prepare a powerpoint presentation about the partner students' interests, their hometown features and traditions, - everything they have learned about their partners during the process.
