| The main idea would be to learn to use the net for learning and getting to know other young people. 6th graders could report every month (at least once a month) about the weather, about the special days of the month, about certain events of the school or about their own special areas of interest. We could also try to teach one another a few words of our own languages (eg 5 words a month) and also add some photos. It would be important that at least some comments were added frequently. In April or in May we could have a video conference assisted by for example Skype, so that the pupils could hear and see each other. Then we could also discuss the topics live that we have sent messages about previously. Some aims of this project would be: to practise international communication via the means provided by the internet, to learn new languages, to work together with young people from another country and perhaps make new friends. |
