‘Treasure Island’ is a Partnership between primary schools from small and large islands around the world. Children will set on a quest to find natural treasures and will learn to cherish and value them, acquiring lifelong learning skills about the natural environment. The Partnership will focus on the necessity of water in human and animal lives through cross-curricular activities. Children will explore life under water and near water, learn to care for environment, monitor the usage of water in each school, compare results with the partners, learn songs about water in partner languages, and participate in reading challenge boosting their reading skills. They will practice their speaking and listening skills using Flashmeeting comparing water monitoring results and setting new challenges.
