Nowadays students are looking for occupations which suit their body and soul.Students have to develope a career path which will lead them to a satisfactory profession in the basis of both physical and mental pleasure. The obstacles when choosing the right profession ( family preassure-friends-enviorenment-teachers-economic standarts-willingness) will be discussed between the students of the partner schools and the information will be exchanged between partners through varios online collaborative communication tools.The objective of this project is to prepare the students to active ideal profession searching in their country and abroad.Another goal of this project is to highlight the jobs,which might not be widely known,but still are in demand and interesting.School partners exchange information about educational systems and the situation at the job market in their countries.They find out what schools to choose,what are the occupations of the future and how to look for an ideal job in the modern world.We intend to form an Occupation Exhibition in our school where the students can see,read broshures and touch the real equipments,things on the stands concerning that special occupation.We will also invite real professionals to give us information about their jobs.Also,we want to prepare a Culture Corner (a glass cupboard at the enterance of our school) which may contain students’ work cultural items like souveniers and local things,photos,things the students send to each other.Small things but very characteristic of ecah region and thematic area covered which will help the kids come to closer contact,not just become internet friends. Another activity could be organizing daily trips to the work places of some professions where students can get information right from the first hand.The students could also have the oppurtunity to try that certain profession on thier own. In that workplace they can learn more about the benefits and the disadvantages of that certain profession.All in all choosing a profession is not an easy case so we have to be good guides for the students to evaluate the professions' qualities in every aspect and ease their path to find the right occupation of their life.YOU CAN GET MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PROJECT FROM THIS LINK: http://okulweb.meb.gov.tr/31/06/281130/compass.htm
