Through this project, we would like to share our concern regarding environmental protection, protection of life, the effects and benefits of fire, the advantage and danger fire can bring. At preschool level, we will develop positive attitudes towards norms of life protection and protection against fire. This project will develop in 3 months: March-April-Mai 2009.

The teachers will lead these types of activities, and for best results, we will collaborate, in a partnership, with the local Firemen Department.
Approaching this subject with real interest and as serious as possible, we will have fire drills during activities, with firemen explaining and guiding us in the direction of accomplishing our aims.

With the help of the firemen department, we will make a contest of knowledge for children.
In our kindergarten, we will arrange a place called “Children, Firemen’s Friends” where useful information can be posted, both for children, parents, and teachers.
Through this project, we intend to involve children and teachers in a democratic exercise expected to be the fundamental element in forming an intercultural conscience.
