What’s going on across Europe?
The postcard competition launched by France, Belgium, Italy and The Netherlands ended on 15 January. Two pupils, Marie Thils and Arthur Gengler, won a cash price for the ICT equipment of their classroom.
Do you want to learn more about eTwinning? Come to the third national conference on « ICT on schools », on 19 March, in Gosselies.
Estonian teachers are now welcome to join the eTwinning online training activities on the educational portal www.koolielu.ee. The training will focus on eTwinning project work.
From 28-29 January, the eTwinning training for beginners took place in Tartu, Estonia.
Since the beginning of February, there is a new eTwinning website in France! Teachers will be able to easily find more information and guidance about pedagogical and technical issues. The site also showcases several eTwinning projects.
The Italian NSS will organise a two-day seminar for its eTwinning ambassadors which will be held in Rimini from 24-26 March. The training contents will be development of skills for organising and moderating small eTwinning workshops, and discussion and sharing on how to increase the eTwinning general quality for projects.
A section collecting a range of video tutorials on eTwinning tools is now available on the national website. The video are clear and practical descriptions made by the eTwinning ambassadors, describing the step-by-step process to registration, partner finding and project work.
A national thematic eTwinning conference for history and civic studies teachers will take place on 18 March in Warsaw. Teachers will be able to discuss methods for project work, learn about eTwinning tools as well as share good practice examples.
The Slovenian NSS is pleased to announce the winners of the eTwinning video contest. Congratulations to all!
A set of accredited 30-hour courses have been organised in eleven cities in Slovakia about schools projects and international partnerships via Internet. eTwinning teachers are welcome to join.
From 13-16 March, a Slavic contact seminar will take place in the Czech town of Olomouc near the Slovak border. Pedagogues will have the opportunity to communicate in their own native language.
A new special link for head teachers is now available on the Slovakian eTwinning website with news, information, and videos about good practice.

The eTwinning National Support Service has got a new and improved webpage in which content and design play an important role to offer eTwinners more visibility.
The Turkish eTwinning website has been updated and is now ready to be used by all Turkish eTwinners. Teachers can access support information as well as photos and videos of workshops organised in Turkey.
A new video has been made with successful eTwinners in Turkey with the aim of presenting the project throughout the country. The video will be distributed to all cities in Turkey and is also on the national website.
