| Hatice Madenci Hello, My name is Hatice and I am 38 years old. I am a full-time teacher of English, Turkish and art in the comprehensive school "Geschwister- Scholl" in Lünen, a city very close to Dortmund in Germany. Our students are 13 to 20 years old. We have bilingual, hockey, music and natural sciences profile clases. I am passionately interested in linking up with a British or Irish high school in order to stimulate the children in practicing their foreign languages by working on subjects like ecology, culture, arts, history, and geography. I am also interested in setting up a comenius project and/ or an e-penpal exchange. I have experience in working on E-twinning projects with the Czech Republic and Turkey. Hello everyone, Having started working at my school a few months ago, I am now looking for a partner school to exchange experiences and work on projects together. Our school is very open for everything new and both teachers and students are very friendly. We are supporting our students especially in foreign languages, natural sciences, music and sports. We would like to have a partner school from England or Ireland in order to learn more about their respective culture and co-operate on common projects. In our school we have students with different cultural backgrounds; aside from German students we also have lots of students from Turkey and Russia. As a multicultural school some ideas for projects would be: Intercultural Studies, school life helping Africa or global warming.
