Ideas de proyectos
An ET (project) between us

The purpose of this project is to develop a collaborative project between students of the participating High Schools using the tools of new technologies as possible and having as objective the Classical references that exist in some aspects of our European culture.
This project would be launched in February 2010 and would last for two months.
The ultimate goal is the recognition by the students, a number of classical references in everything around us.
The focusing subjects include the following:
-Language: prefix, suffix, latinismus, and so on.
-Cities: foundation, urbanization (cardo, decumanus), architecture.
-Music, mythological references.
-Television, cinema: advertising, movies, comics
-Ars :Classical models, aemulatio

This project consists of the following phases:
1. Teachers write 10 letters (or audio)(more or less) in a blog, as a curious newcomer to Europe, and ask for strange aspects of our life, concerning always Classical references, e.g., Why is the opposite of “honest” “dishonest” or “I see humans more like paintings with human figures or real andscapes than abstract figures. Why?”, and so on.
2. From these questions, pupils should respond by showing classical influence. Pupils have to show some aspects of our Classical life in Europe. groups of pupils try to answer these issues, with examples from their own countries, using the net, web 2.0 tools, etc. Responses must have a multimedia support (video, images, audio, and so on).
3. On the other hand, pupils from one country have to propose a series of puzzles (aenigmas) concerning the issues, to pupils from the other country (ies), and vice versa. They have to solve its in a given time. Teachers make a ranking of the correct answers, insisting on its playful and noncompetitive nature.
4. Finally, all together will say good bye to ET ,in Latin and in all languages of the participants.
Students can explore and draw all the communicative potential of ICT tools (integration of videos, if you want to submit the problem directly, presentations with images, blogs for the opinions and social net, and so on.
We can use English ans Latin as a lingua franca, but students can communicate with any other language they study in their countries (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.)
We use TwinSpace as a way of communication in the relationship between High Schools and students with several proposal, if possible. Anyway, one of our goals is for students to communicate through the tools offered online.
