Partner schools work at Powerpoint Presentations of their schools, holidays, customs, traditions, festivals in English.
Students develop their ICT skills, improve and practise English.
This is a short time project consisting of three Powerpoint presentations.
Partner schools had an idea and plan of their own project before registration and looking for partners. In this project all involved partners came on , agreed on topics, activities, technical tools , duration.
The first presentation should contain personal characteristic, introducing of students and description of the region they live in. Students can take photos , inclose maps, exchange their email address or other contact.
The second presentation should be done in March and April. The aim of this presentation is introducing and describing Easter from two different points of view: as Christian festival with description of typical (regional) customs, a recipe of traditional meal, exchanging Easter postcards and Easter seen by young people-school holidays.
Each partner school prepares description of an interesting, unusual, surprising activity, thing, custom. It is a bonus of this presentation. It should be surprising for partners.The choice of surprise depends on students and teachers. By this, intercultural relations can be developed.
The third and the last presentation should describe, define, image school life ( equipment of school, timetable, subjects), and of course a calendar of school holidays. Students should explain festivals and tell about activities that they are doing during holidays.
We have planned short time project but all three presentation should be done in a very good level.
We believe that partnership is significant for our schools, especially students.
For us, teachers, it should be a great experience and we will enjoy working with partners.
