- Proceso de trabajo: Objective: This will help pupils to understand the processes in publishing a book; widen their scope, help them to be creative... más informaciónObjective: This will help pupils to understand the processes in publishing a book; widen their scope, help them to be creative and also express their own creativity, and expose them to the publishing process. This will also provide insight into the different carer choices that each specialised field will explore; that is, writing (developing a manuscript), genre, editing, illustrating, graphic design, printing, legal deposits (in the UK), copyright, marketing tools- ISBNs, target marketing, promoting, distributing, and retailing.
Process: It is intended that the manuscript be written within the context of community writing. Thus, a team of pupils will engage their thought process in developing an idea within a children genre, establish a narrative arc, structure the narrative along this arc, engaging the fundamental principles of story telling.
Each country will function concurrently or simultaneously along the production process. Hence, upon completion of the manuscript, pupils in another country will be required to produce the illustrations among other aspects in the process.
Communication: There will be regular video conferencing and emailing to share ideas and concepts in each stage, but the final decisions will remain with the group responsible for a particular task.
