The sea and its history have always been passionate crowds of people with different cultural backgrounds and ages.
The fascination of the abyss, the lure of distant lands, the fantastic world of marine life and the beauty of the item (sea) will never cease to attract the interest of a wide array of people.
However, this interest shows that sometimes there is an unhealthy and incorrect approach to the sea. Sometimes the connection between the man and the sea is manifested in a wrong way, uncontrolled, causing damage to a resource that in certain aspects is not renewable and has a collective value to be protected in its entirety
It is necessary to start from the school, particularly from the primary schools, to influence the curriculum to be both more sensitive and an effective way to teach respect

Phase I: treatment of the topic in the classroom using a specific literature, scientific texts, and screenings;
Phase II: meetings at school with various experts, formal theoretical, workshop experiences, visit the Planetarium;
Phase III: walks to the sea, study of the coast, hiking on the island of Ventotene, observation of the seabed, mini sailing course.
Each school will implement the three stages by recording the number of progress with the production of CDs, DVDs, Posters.
Then the various products will be exchanged between schools.
At the end of each phase all the schools involved will meet via videoconference to exchange experience.
Will be interesting to discover the different ways of experiencing the reality of the island through the experiences made by schools of different islands in Europe
In parallel there will be a drama workshop that will conclude with a show entitled "The sea to grow up."
In the show, children do not dramatize the life of their island but one with whom they shared the project.
