The project that we want to develop the main aims of the national presentation of the Christmas traditions in the Balkan countries of Europe. The project objective is to observe differences and similarities between Christmas traditions of various countries in eastern and southeastern Europe. Each partner will prepare drawings, paintings, sketches and greeting cards which highlight the country's Christmas traditions. Also the specific activities in the project we plan: creating a calendar for Christmas 2011 with specific images from each partner country, making a concert of traditional carols in every country, to organize a virtual exhibition with images of Christmas, making a website: "thebalkans.org” in which to present the project results and to renew it with other projects.

• Proceso de trabajo: Each partner will prepare drawings, paintings, sketches and greeting cards which highlight the country's Christmas traditions and send them to... más informaciónEach partner will prepare drawings, paintings, sketches and greeting cards which highlight the country's Christmas traditions and send them to the partners schools. We will add some presentations, photos, the paintings or drawings about traditions typical for the countries on e-Twinning Project Diary or on blog. Later, all schools send the cards with the Christmas traditions to every school participating in the project. Then schools will prepare wall charts with the cards and wishes for all school community to see it. Pupils can be devided into groups for different activities and create their own accounts and profiles. Every country will make a folder with information about Christmas by topics that we will discuss and approve together (examples could be: food, climate, Christmas tree, Christmas wishes, Religion, greetings, traditional collars). Every team will prepare and register a traditional collar song for Christmas in national language, that we will upload on web in realizing a Christmas Balkan Concert. We plan to acquire a web domain “thebalkans.org” where put the results of the project and information about the countries participating. The website will be used as well in future projects. ocultar

During the development of this project, pupils will gather information about the traditional Christmas of the partners countries by exchanging information with them. Pupils will have a better knowledge of the different countries and maybe we will do a student exchange at the end of this interesting experience. ocultar
