1. finding a twin school, introducing the topic, discussion about the topic and getting to know – sharing personal information between the participants and presenting general information about the students (sending emails with short information about the student and their families and adding the photos to the emails), the school, place and the whole region and country (sending emails with description of the school, the town, the map and the flag of the country, adding photos),
2. celebrating: World Cleanliness Day (September 23rd) – clearing the banks of the local river;
3. art competition: “Water – the source of life” – presentation of students’ art works.

1. finding information about three states of aggregation of water,
2. preparing and presentation of simple chemical experiments connected with water,
3. creating sculptures from litter found near the river.
November 2009
1. creating Power Point presentations about fauna and flora of rivers, lakes and sea that live in the particular country.
December 2009
1. creating a model: “Circulation of water in nature”,
2. writing a poem or a rhyme about water,
3. description of local river/lake/sea.
January 2010
1. art competition: “Preserve the blue colour of water”,
2. creating a list of foodstuffs that contain a lot of water.
February 2010
1. redacting greetings to a river/lake/sea,
2. writing articles about the importance of water in environment and human management.
March 2010
1. presenting dangers and ways of saving water – creating a leaflet about saving water in our homes,
2. celebrating: World Water Day (March 22nd).
April 2010
1. flying kites with greetings to river/lake/sea,
2. creating a photo album about local rivers/lakes/sea,
3. summary of the cooperation, greetings and thanks of the cooperation.
