This is a project that will enable children and teachers to learn about plants/flowers from different regions in Europe, using ICT in a cross curricular way.

- Proceso de trabajo: -Initial ice-breaker activity: ‘Draw Me’. The children will use simple drawings to introduce themselves to each other. A suggested ICT tool is ‘Tux Paint’ / 'Kid Pix'.
-Children will be introduced to the regions where the other partner classes come from, perhaps using Google Maps or Google Earth.
-The project will then begin to focus in on activities using the plants in the different regions. There would be a number of activities at this stage as this is the main focus of the project. For example, children will a) collect sample plants, b) draw the plants and c) present the plants in various different ways to the other partner children.
-Suggested activities: Use of mother tongue/diary/colours of plants/story of plants
-Also: exchange of plants, not just using PowerPoint, rather sending real plants/samples/gifts etc
-Display of work in the school, for teachers, other children, parents etc
