Have you ever wondered whether children in different countries learn the same words for making animal sounds? This project, inspired by discussions with my Russian wife when we were teaching our young children for example, "What does the dog say?", looks in an amusing way at the sounds that children in various European countries have learned to describe various common animals.

Any animals we use that are not part of the Voki site, we will make up a "human" avatar, again recoed the introduction and post a photo of the relevant animal underneath. Children in all classes will gain valuable experience of making sound recordings and publishing them to the web, creating their own animal avatars and searching for pictures of chosen animals on the net. ocultar
