I'm an active teacher (mostly the young children) on a primary school for over 25 years now. Recently we've started the People Planet Profit project where we work with two other schools, one from Germany and one from Malta. The main idea behind the project is for the children to learn about each others cultures through the project assignments and visitations to the participating schools. The first visit, at my school in Boxmeer, happened in the week of 8 october. We've learned a lot from each other. Next we'll be visiting Germany in april next year followed by a visit to Malta in june. We will use Etwinning to stay in touch with other schools who unfortunately couldn't participate in the project due to funding issues.

I am born in 1948, (at the present retired) teacher in a primary school. ETwinning is for me really a possibility to work on international projects like Comenius. Thinking about the future of the pupils inprimary schools I am sure that their future will be interbnational. They will use ICT every day, they will speak more then one language. Fore me these are reasons to implement international projects in the daily curriculum as a preparation for the pupils future.
