Insegnante di scuola primaria con 8 anni di esperienza. Ho conseguito la Laurea in lettere classiche presso l'università' di Palermo nel 1994, sono abilitata all'insegnamento della scuola primaria e dell'infanzia. Ho insegnato: lingue straniere, italiano, matematica, arte e immagine e tecnologia informatica. Un eventuale progetto a cui potrei essere interessata riguarderebbe la matematica nell'arte.

Docente di sostegno in una scuola dell'infanzia del 1° circolo didattico di Trapani. Per me insegnare è un'esperienza straordinaria, a volte dura e difficile, ma piena di soddisfazioni e di gioie. Mi chiamo Caterina Scarlata e sono di Trapani. Vissuta in Germania, fino all'età di 14 anni. Nel 2000 ottiene il diploma di lingua tedesca e vince una borsa di studio. Tramite l'istituto di Cultura Italo-Tedesco di Trapani,frequenta un corso internazionale di aggiornamento per insegnanti elementari offerto dal Ministero dell'Istruzione della Repubblica Federale di Germania.Fin da giovane è attratta dalla composizione artistica.
