Our school is located in the center of city called Afyonkarahisar. There are 585pupils who are taught by 27 teachers. Our school is a historical school. It was built in 1929 and since this time it has functioned as a primary school.Geographically, Afyonkarahisar is situated in the middle of Turkey.And it isn’t far to beautiful and important cities of Turkey such as Ankara which is the capital of Turkey,Antalya which is a touristic city,Isparta which has Davraz skiing center and Denizli which is famous for Pamukkale travertenes and also Konya Mevlana museum.These are tourist attractions of our country and we are so close to these beautiful places.They are really worth seeing. . A very beautiful place near Afyonkarahisar is Frig Valley where we can see the ruins of Mediveal agels.In addition to these Afyonkarahisar is famous for thermal water and five-star hotels where you can have Turkish bath. Afyonkarahisar is also famous for castle which was built in the medieval age and was one of the strongest castle in the world those times.It really worths seeing.Besides these, in Afyonkarahisar there are historical houses which were built in the 18th centuries and now they are restorated and these historical houses functions now as a luxurious hotel and restaurant and is visited by many tourists.In Afyonkarahisar there are aqua parks and water parks where we can actively spend our free time and have a good time. Lots of people run here their own business and as a city Afyonkarahisar is rich economically. Pupils and teachers in our school cares about Turkish and regional customs and festivals, preparing many interesting school performances such as, the First Day of Spring, Mother’s Day, Republic Day, Children’s Day, Family Picnic and the Christmas Eve play. Our school offers studying one language English .So pupils can gain many important information about the European countries and participate in many competitions. We would like to take part in the International Comenius project. We are in the middle of the west region. Our school is a historical and mystic school.Afyon is a historical city with its castle and famous for thermal hotels. It is near famous for sea,sun and beaches. We are in the middle of our natural beauty of Turkey. Our school is very friendly, very historiail and very interesting. We are 32 teachers and 589 students. Our students are 4-14 years old.
