Srednja šola Metlika, a part of the School center Novo mesto, is situated in Metlika, a little town in Bela krajina, which is in the southeast of Slovenia.
Srednja šola Metlika is a vocational school for preschool education. Our students attending this program are preparing themselves for the interesting work in kindergarten.
Most of our students are involved in different projects and taking part in different competitions for languages, math, history, sport, dancing, art, music...
eTwinning projects are in our school very admired projects and this kind of cooperation with other schools and the results are showing, that our students are really enjoying all the work. They are not only improving their language skills but also searching for new materials for the eTwinning project, which means, that they are gathering information about different life areas.
Our school is little, but the pupils and the teachers as well, are very close to each other. We are making together efforts for reaching the results without pressure and with a lot of positive energy, searching all the time for new skills through renewed or new teaching methods.
The leader of the eTwinning projects is Lorena Mihelac, professor of the methodology for music and instruments.
