| I tentatively called my project "National Dishes of European Countries" or "Typical European Food". It would be useful to secondary technical schools which specialize in cookery, catering. In fact the idea was given to me by the students themselves after their practical classes. They asked me about typical English food, about Bulgarian art of cooking, etc. They have even been making enquiries about German cuisines as well. Hence the idea. (By the way, the school where I work achieved the best results of practical school ending exams in whole Poland. So the students are really cooperative, helpful, full of new ideas.) The aim of this project would be to show simillarities and differences between some European contries with regards to food, technolgy of making some specific dishes, ingredients that are used, etc. Age of participants: 15-18 Language: English Technology: E-mail Final assessment: a) Presentation of new learned food products/ dishes in the form of PowerPoint b) public exhibition of such products. Practical dimention of such a project: a)better grades at Food Technology classes b) finding penfriends to exchange other ideas (not only connected with cookery) c)developing skills connected with PowerPoint, Word, etc programes Miroslaw |
