| I am a teacher of English in Junior High School in Zawiercie, a city that is situated in the south of Poland on the Jura .I have been teaching English for 17 years. Our school is quite old, there are about 320 students at the age of 14 – 16 and 40 teachers . We are proud of our school traditions and customs. I would like to realize a project on “The regional culture”. The main aim of the project is to share the information which concerns the region we live in, to know its history, legends and natural environment. The students’ task is to look for the places famous for its history, beautiful places connected with nature and those connected with art. I would also like the students to develop their computer skills and the use of Internet in finding information, creating their own project works, communicating as well as improving their language by speaking English while exchanging ideas with students from other schools from Europe. |
