Project ideas
• Raising awareness in the school communities of the resources we have available and the effects of climate change on different cultures. • Learning to communicate with partner schools exchanging specific small scale collections of data about weather, seasons , endangered species and water and discussing the differences and similarities in our experience of them. (For example, tracking the arrival and departure of the swallow in Spring) • Raising awareness of how our food is grown and how we eat it and celebrate with it! Local food, local recipes and festivals, songs and stories – but if what we grow changes, will our local cultures change? Sharing our ideas using e-mail and video conferencing, songs, stories and digital video so that we all want to talk to each other so we all want to learn languages.
