I'm a librarian. I work with teenagers at the age of 13-15, at junior high school in Lublin (located in eastern Poland, on the left bank of the Vistula River). I'm interested in e-twinning partnership in the subject of libraries, books and the history of writing in the past and present. I'd like my students to learn and compare young Europeans hobbies, not only those connected with books. I mean the creative forms of spending their spare time, for example origami, decoupage ... I'm ready to do projects on reading books and books interpretation, too.I'd like to find partners who are specially interested in modern novels which are popular among European teenagers. We could examine their favourite books, writers, make their own reading lists, share opinions about books we've read ... I'm also curious about culture and traditions of European countries. So I'd like to work with people who find discovering cultural diversity fascinating. I think I could also invite to work on new techniques of studying (mnemotechniques) which strengthen teenager's learning potential. Lublin applies for being the European Capital of Culture in 2016. And this is why I'd try to show rich and unique history and present diversity of my city - Lublin. I'm sure that e-twinning partnership develops computer communication skills in English.
