We would like to work with 6-15 year-olds to create a virtual Recipe Book! We would like to learn some vocabulary connected with this topic (talk about countable and uncountable things), look for and write the recipes for our favourite dishes/cakes, and organize a Cuisine Day later - in each partner school - to taste what we have written the recipes for. And we would like to try to make YOUR favourite dish ;-)))
Moreover, we are eager to get to know our partners – their school and hometowns, their families and each individual student taking part in the project (and teachers as well!). We are looking forward to establishing long-lasting friendships.

The tasks are planned so that first we get to know the partners – the schools and home towns. Then we exchange the recipes for our favourite dishes. The students look for the recipe in their mother language and then translate it into English. The recipes are checked carefully by the teachers before the students prepare their neat versions. Then we will organize Cuisine Day in each partner’s school with all the dishes AND we will try to prepare some of the partners’ ones! That should be fun! Finally, we will concentrate on the vocabulary connected with the food and drink topic. To count or not to count the noun? – THAT is the question here! Additionally, we would like to have a closer look at our nutrition styles to see whether there is something that needs to be improved. After all, we want to be fit and healthy, don’t we? hide
