The main objectives of the project are to increase creativity of students, to increase learning of a foreign language and ICT tools, to exchange pedagogical methods linked to vocational subjects, to make new friends, to develop the personalities of all participants and to support young people to take part in activities that will give them an insight about local entrepreneurship. In a first step students will create a web site which will be the source of communication and information and will showcase our findings. During the project the partners will share their existing best practices in various forms of local entrepreneurship and will explore the possibilities of new local development (new work places, employment). We will focus on enterprises in the fields of local products, rural tourism, organic farming as well as social enterprises and “green” enterprises. The students will also create a student company in their school as well as a forum for virtual trade in the internet where they can buy and sell chosen products during the project process. This will broaden knowledge and the competences of students in the fields of marketing, promotion (using ICT tools) and sales management. At the very end of the project the students will compile a booklet (both in printed and in CD-ROM form) which will present each city’s or town’s best practices in various forms of enterprises and also a section with useful information for young entrepreneurs.
