UNION (countries which have given their contribution to the making of a big nation through the history of the last three centuries)/
RIGHTS (for which countries have been struggling and are trying to mantain)
ORGANIZATIONS (the parliament and the other institutions)/and/
ORIGINS (myth of europe and common elements as Christianity, Greco-Roman and Germanic slavonic culture)/
PEOPLES (exploring the partners of Europe)/
EQUALITY (an objective which is also one fundamental ideal of the european manifesto)

The widespreading of social network might so become a device for learning and making ancient contents get closer to our lives. This project is also a spur and an incentive for us teachers to get in touch and share procedures and techiques of problem-solving and last but not least a stimulus to the use of widegets. Of course also the spirit of community in the sense of working together and cooperate with the final goal of meeting one day is both an effective agent towards knowledge and a way towards an authentic european citizenship hide

They have been spoken about some important stages of the history of Europe and the new outcomes of this critical contemporary history.
After this preliminary remarks the first step has been to prepare personal presentations: the students are using different programs to introduce themselves (physical aspects, personality, likes and dislikes...)
Then we have divided the class into seven groups (mixed Italian and Polish students) following the idea of working on the acronym of Europe.
In February we are expecting to develop the second step of the project through videoconference where students can compare and see their works before meeting. hide

Last year there was a live confrontation on the works the two countries made about the constitutions. This year we hope to reinforce the concept of an European cultural identity common to us all and to grow (students and teachers) becoming more and more aware of being European citizens. Furthermore, in order to give continuity to the last year work we really hope to be able to visit the European parliament. hide
