Volunteering is the general term for covering people, organizations, activities involved in this process. Voluntary activities provide numerous contributions to all spheres of the life and communities as well as its individual contributions of the volunteer. First of all, voluntary activities increase solidarity in the community, put non-discrimination policies into action, enhances and develops democracy in the societies, creates an environment for exchanging good practices and a learning environment for those involved in voluntary activities, helps the volunteer developing his/her skills and competencies, increases employability opportunities of the volunteer.
