A project under the LLP Comenius programme 2011 to 2013. Students study, present, compare and discuss their relationships, what forms they take and what role they play in their lives.

- have a European context for their learning and increase their awareness of what living in a united Europe means,
- take part in mobilities, travel to other schools in the project and thus meet students of their age or teachers there and cooperate with them in international workshops,
- develop their knowledge of English, apply it in authentic communication, both online and in direct communication during the project meetings,
- increase and practice their knowledge of the native languages of some of the participants, especially during the meetings, and increase their awareness of the importance of learning foreign languages,
- be motivated through having real partners for authentic international communication and cooperation,
- increase their IT knowledge and develop their skills in this area.
The teachers will also increase their knowledge and professional experience of international project-based learning and of the use of electronic communication in the classroom.
The schools will develop their European profiles and improve the quality of their work, thus giving them a higher profile in the community. They will also be seen as welcoming towards people of different nationalities and beliefs.
In addition, students will
- develop their personalities by researching, reflecting, discussing, and presenting the role of relationships in their lives, thus gaining an insight into the importance of various kinds of relationships and evaluating the roles that they play for them;
- be encouraged to present their views through artistic forms, thus boosting their creativity;
- be motivated through the highly interesting topic, which directly relates to their daily lives, and through giving them the opportunity to work independently,
- be given the opportunity to publish their work for a wider audience and receive genuine feedback from their peers;
- be given the opportunity to plan and evaluate activities themselves, thus encouraging independence of thought, training their ability to plan their learning, and increasing their self-confidence;
- be encouraged to develop their teamability through work in mixed groups.
The teachers will increase their knowledge and professional experience of student-centered activities in the classroom, of project-based learning, and of group work.
The schools will improve the quality of their work, particularly in providing individual support for the students, encouraging their learning to learn, and offering them opportunities to develop their knowledge of IT in authentic contexts. hide
