My students will be taking photos of flowers that grow locally, and then do some research on the characteristics of each flower. I believe it would be interesting to share these photos and information with other students abroad. Another aim of this project is also for my students to gain knowledge of the flowering species that grow abroad. All photos would later on be used to set up items such as a calendar, or posters, and will be drawn on canvas to decorate rooms:).

1. Students take photos of flowers growing locally.
2. Then they research the flowers' characteristics, and present them in a powerpoint.
3. The photos will then be passed on to art students, who will zoom on various parts, and then make drawings of zoomed parts.
4. In the meantime, art students will also take photos of flowers, and draw any they desire in various artistic ways.
5. These flowers will be passed on to the Biology students, to research their characteristics.
6. Best drawings of art students will be used (possibly re drawn on canvas) to decorate our school foyer.
7. Best photos will be used to set up a calendar.
8. Best paintings might be used to set up a separate calendar.
9. Possibly all the information will be published online.
The 2 countries will be doing the work in parallel; we intend on working 1 hour per week. We intend on finishing the project by May. hide
