We are two teachers from the « Collège » Sainte Anne in Brest : Maryse Duprey, a Maths teacher and Martine Lan, an English teacher both teaching in Year 7. We have started a modest project on comparing the differences between the operations (addition, subtraction, division) in France and UK, Imperial and metric measurements, Scrabble statistics ... and we propose to expand the project to other European countries. We would like our pupils to exchange some e-mails about these subjects with your pupils. It will be very simple because it is their first year of English. Besides, it would be a good opportunity for them to be motivated and to make progress both in English and Maths.
