UK, Portuguese and Belgian children will be carrying out surveys and produce a DVD to show the impact of water in our lives. They will look at the environmental aspects and send a report to the Climate Conference.

- Work process: Three schools from UK, Belgium and Portugal have worked on Strawberry United project, which was awarded quality label from UK.... read moreThree schools from UK, Belgium and Portugal have worked on Strawberry United project, which was awarded quality label from UK. We have decided to work on a new environmental project related to water. Each school will divide the water topic according to the school curriculum. Younger children in Portugal will carry out a visual survey in how usage of water at home. UK children will look at the impact of water in our lives including change of weather patterns and trips to Thames Barrier. Belgian pupils will look at the data and compare how much water European countries use against the other countries around the world. All schools will be doing artwork related to their topic. They will be regular contact between teachers and pupils through etwinning chat area and emails. Flash meeting will be tested, if successful all schools will be communicating more regularly. Action group will be set and our findings will be presented to the Climate Change Conference in December. hide

Exchange of findings .
The biggest aim is to prepare a short DVD which shows what children think about the issue of water and its impact to our lives. This DVD will be sent to Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen together with all our findings from three countries to represent 'pupil's voices'
