By participation in this project the primary school students from different european countries discover Europe and experience the sense of european unity. The main topic of our project is the song "Ode to Joy" recognised as the EU anthem and the national anthems of each participating partner. The pupils will learn to sing them. Before singing it "together" they will try to find out something about each European country (location, capital city, flag, language, etc.), prepare some displays, presentations, take photos... By different activities we will try to discover the elements which cause that we belong to the common europeam culture, that we become the citizens of Europe - the members of one big family. Thanks to fundamental values of mutual understanding. tollerance and responsibility, the pupils will develop and improve their knowledge, intercultural consiousness, communication and ICT skills and other abilities. We hope the students will take interest in chosen topic and it will bring us nearer to the idea of the United Europe.
