Children from various parts of Europe will learn more about each other’s culture through their “knives and forks”. Cooking different traditional dishes will offer the pupils the opportunity to get acquainted with different ingredients, ways of mixing them up and bringing new flavors and smells to their lives. The project will also aim to develop pupils’ awareness to different manners and social behavior, develop their geographical knowledge and cooking skills and embed to their inner development the concept of citizen of the World.
To encourage collaborative work and a meaningful way of learning a second language, pupils will be involved in producing documents, short videos, photo galleries, and podcasts, posted by the various schools in a Wiki created for the project.
