Description Why not finding out the migratory birds that cross all over Europe to Africa Hence we will get to know our European natural heritage and, on the other hand, we will discover our urban environment. We will also get to know the migratory paths for birds in Europe. We will have to take into account the different stages and levels of the project: first ,in a regional step our students and we –as teachers- will take samples of the birds from our area, from the natural places we enjoy and from the cities and towns we live in; secondly ,in a national step and thirdly in an European step. This job will highlight the necessity to take care of our natural resources and will show us how to share the same European sky but in different parts of Europe. Hence we will realize that we have the duty to enhance our natural heritage so that our children could enjoy it and so they could live a proper balance in our planet - the Earth. Thus we will cooperate to reduce the climate change.

To put into practice what the pupils already know through ICT classes with the help of their teachers if necessary (PowerPoint, Windows Movie Maker works, small podcasts…). To produce objects such as photo-CDs , booklets, webmags, webbooks, blogs... Use foreign languages learnt in class as a vehicle of communication among students from the different countries: the pupils - send information necessary to the project and exchange opinions. Write articles for a webmag,blog... Write definitions in the foreign language of keywords necessary for the project to create a multilingual, picture dictionary Take photos of their own surroundings and therefore learn how to look around them, finding out what can be interesting for foreigners. hide

The students will take photographs, small videos or draw pictures of the birds and their natural environment, versus their city or town surroundings. The material will be uploaded to a common blog or web site so that they could see their productions on internet. They could compare their natural environment on a regional level seeing the differences and resemblances of their places. It helps them to awake the “European knowledge” out of their regional characteristics. Thus, to make them think how to enhance their own regional environment by comparing what the solutions brought about by the regions of the other partner schools. BREAK AND RELAX: FROM JUNE 2009 TO MID SEPTEMBER 2009 Check out the materials 2nd LEVEL:It will be from Mid-September 2009 to Mid-December 2009.The pupils study and compare their natural and urban environment on a national level in order to understand how the other countries take care of these aspectst Analysing the similarities and differences of their countries and languages, they can be together under the same European umbrella BREAK AND RELAX FROM MID-DECEMBER 2009 TO MID- JANUARY 2010 Check out the materials 3rd LEVEL:It will be from January 2010 to June 2010. The students will get to know the different natural places from Europe. Europe in the world - how to be European with the similarities and differences of their natural environmen.,It can help eliminate language barriers. They will study how Europe has influenced in the natural environment of the world and learn how countries and continents are inter-connected. ICTs will be the key point of the project since exchanges will be made by educational mail, forums, chats and will enable the pupils to create a webmag, a website,CDs with images, booklets, posters made in common.
