Life in our towns in the Middle Ages is the main subject of our work. We want to look at it from all points of views, like: history, music, clothing food, law, traditions, markets, churches, building houses, medicine.....

- Aims: The aim of this project is to get to know the history of the Middle Ages in the hometown, area,... read moreThe aim of this project is to get to know the history of the Middle Ages in the hometown, area, country and to communicate about this with the children of the project partners to learn about commonities and differences in Europe in this century. Most children don't have the possibility to travel to other European countries, but with this project they will have the chance to get to know the pupils from our partner schools all over Europe. They will communicate their results with the other partners in a way that is appropriate to their age and school level.

Each... read moreLife, traditions, music, food, markets, clothes, building houses, churches, law, medicine in the Middle Ages in my town, area, country.
Each school works on the level of their pupils. Send informations, pictures, books, videos, letters to the other schools, get to know their working process. They practise the foreign language and get to know that it is neccessary to have at least one language other than their own. They practice their teamwork, learn about differences and commonalities and their teachers will help them to communicate.
All pupils of each school will get to know the results of the partner schools from exhibitions, films, videos and reports. Working together with the national newspapers, the public will get to know the European cooperation with Comenius.

The pupils gain real communication skills, due to real partnership in foreign languages. Each school will create a presentation area to show the public, other pupils, teachers, parents the process of the project, the differences of the development of the Middle Ages and the commonalities in the different countries. The knowledge about a European dimension will develop by knowing each others roots. Homepages of each school could provide the
public access to the results.
