I would like to work on projects that would give my pupils knowledge and information about cultural differences. My ides for exchanges would be firstly to find out about life in another country. For instance, we would look at what pupils do at school, at home. They could swap letters or emails regarding their lifestyles, interests, dreams about future, etc. I'm looking for schools in Europe interested in doing simple projects. For instance, my children would prepare their portfolios - writing (on a piece of paper A3) about themselves, their hobbies, interests, families,etc., sticking on their drawings or photos. Your pupils would do the same. Next, we would exchange those portfolios. We could put them on the wall or a board, do some kind of exhibition in our schools. Children could learn about other children from different countries. Depending on the number of schools joining in, each school would have to prepare portfolios for all schools participating in this project. Children in different countries take photos that make them laugh. Anyone interested in such a project :). At the moment I'm preparing two projects connected with Christmas: 1. Sending letters to Santa Clause, 2. Sending Christmas cards.
