I'd like to set up a project concerning everyday life and/or interesting places in our countries in order to make my students familiar with other cultures and people's lives abroad. My intention is to make them more sensitive to cultural differences. English is to be the main language of the project which is connected with the second aim, i.e. developing language skills and improving vocabulary.

Hello! I would like to introduce myself as an energetic and full of ideas primary school teacher. Me and my students (10-12-year olds) are from a village called Kobiernice in Poland and we are eager to exchange the information about our school in four seasons of the year. At the beginning, we would like to work with the computer (Power Point presentations, e-mails), camera and graphics scanner. Later, we want to communicate by means of Skype. Each season of the year has its own image and weather conditions. The school I teach in provides different activities and events changing throughout the year. We want to relate the seasons with the school work and traditions and compare it with yours. The aim will be to get to know something more about foreign school and culture, the changing weather and, of course, to meet new people and find some friends.

The project involves making an online magazine in English in which students share their opinions, news, school matters and passions. It is created for and by the students.

The project concerns different aspects of Spanish and Polish culture and its aim is to encourage students to develop foreign language skills and make them familiar and thus more open to other cultures.
