Hello, I'm currently a coordinator for a Comenius project which ends this year, and I'm looking for partners to apply with in January to start a new project next year. Rather that having a specific topic, we're thinking about carrying out a skills based project where our students learn the skills they need to be successful in their school life. This is very much in the ideas stage at the moment and so any suggestions from other partners would be great! Our students are aged 11-18, and study a variety of academic and vocational subjects. Our school is located just outside of the beautiful city of Canterbury with its magnificent Cathedral dating back as far a 597AD.

Multicultural European Landscapes (Started on 08.09.2011)

We will be making a comparison of cathedral cities. We want to look at the impact of such a religious presence in a city on the local culture, identity and history, linking RE, citizenship, history and geography.

The main objective of this project is to give students the opportunity to meet a partner class, a school and a European Union country, through an innovative project, motivationally rich and pedagogically interesting.

PARTNER FINDING FAIR - October 2012 (Closed on 28.03.2013)

This is a special event during eTwinning for teachers of pupils aged 11 - 19 to find partners during eTwinning Weeks.

Skills Based Learning (Started on 14.10.2012)

We are hoping to develop a project based around skills based learning. This is so that the project may be fully embedded in a cross curricular, whole school manner, which can be difficult with a thematic project.
