I am in my first year of teaching. I am interested in making links with other countries. I can speak some French and German. English is my first language. Our school is part of a commenius project and so we have had visitors in our school and I look forward to the opportunity to vsit one of those places.

I would like to set up a Comenius project. I have set up and established a project in a previous school, with Dutch and Turkish schools, and now am looking for partners to develop a new project for 2009-2011. There are two other schools interested from Holland and Sweden and are looking to set up a prep meeting for November 2008. The Dutch School Leader, we set up the previous project together and have now moved on. We are looking for more partners in order to prepare a project and discuss ideas before we meet.

I have taught all of the Primary age group from Foundation Stage to Year 6. My current class is a Y5 class which sometimes includes Y6 children. Although, I teach all subjects, I have a responsibility for Physical Education in the school, arranging both curricular and extra curricular activities.

Getting to Know You (Closed on 19.07.2009)

The project will be about the children "Getting to Know" each other and about where they live and what they do. We will communicate in French and English using email, letters, cards and the chat facility provided by ETwinning.
